Meet Serious
Cleveland, known by many as “Serious”, came up through hip-hop community as part of the 80's group Serious Lee Fine.
Serious has always been the one lifting people up. Now he needs help to stay alive.
His kidneys are failing. Dialysis keeps him going, but it drains his strength and steals his time. A living kidney donor is his only chance at a full life again.
You can help, even if you’re not a match.
WHY TIME MATTERS
Kidney failure doesn’t pause. Dialysis keeps Serious alive, but not living.
Every week he waits is another week lost.
You can be the reason that changes.

103,000 Waiting
More than 100,000 people in the U.S. are waiting for a kidney, today.
One donor can end one family’s crisis.

Family Doesn’t Have to Match
Most living donors are NOT family members ANY healthy adult can help.

30% Never Make It
Up to 30% of people on the kidney waitlist don’t survive to get one.

How Any Donor Can Help
Even if your blood type isn’t a direct match, you can still join the National Kidney Registry through Cleveland’s referral.
When you do this:
-
You may match with another patient who needs your blood type.
-
That patient’s paired donor would then donate a kidney on Cleveland’s behalf.
-
This creates a paired exchange chain, which moves Cleveland much closer to receiving his life-saving transplant.
